Easy and comfortable path, that will guide you into a world of myths and legends. The excursion includes a guided tour to the small Lakes of Marinello Natural Reserve, located in the territory of Patti (ME), in the Tyrrhenian coast of the north-eastern side of Sicily, in front of the Aeolian Islands. This area extends over a protected area of about 3 km2 and 401.25 hectares, of which 248.13 of Zone A (Reserve) and 153.12 of Zone B (Pre-reserve).

The walk is flat and crosses the great beach that houses the whole lagoon, consisting of four small lakes. The morphological changes and the diverse landscape are home to a variety of different species of flora and fauna. The characteristic rocky vegetation is formed by rare endemic species such as centaurea seguenzae, rocky dianthus, cretanscabious and festuca humifusa. The natural environment gives shelter to different species of animals, such as rapacious and migratory birds like: greater flamingo, kestrel, peregrine falcon, raven, herring gull, white stork, stonechat, subalpine warbler and Sardinian warbler.
